The Wreaths Across America 2015 event at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery was truly inspiring. The mission of Wreaths Across America is to Remember the Fallen, Honor those who served, and Teach our children the value of freedom. This year more than 4,000 wreaths were placed.
The Wednesday Home School Group helped place flags for Veterans Day 2015. Representatives from various military service organizations and volunteer groups were also busy preparing.
We will be placing flags on all the World War II veteran’s graves for the Spirit of '45 Event on Wednesday, August 12th here at the cemetery.
Memorial Day 2015 was another opportunity for us to come together and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for us.
